With 2016 drawing to a close, we’d say that it’s been a pretty successful year. From the new projects we’ve worked on to plenty of new faces joining the Melin team, it’s certainly been busy and we wouldn’t have had it any other way! However, one thing we’re particularly proud of from 2016 is our brand new brochure.
We decided that our old brochure could do with a bit of a refresh to bring it more in line with our brand and positioning as leading sustainability consultants. However, we also wanted our new brochure to highlight some of the sustainable services that not many people are aware of.
Over the last few years, in particular, the concept of sustainable construction has changed, and not everyone is aware of that. As such, we thought it was a good idea to start talking about some of those changes on our blog, starting with SAP calculations.
What is SAP?
The Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) is the methodology set out by the UK Government to assess and compare the energy and environmental performance of buildings. The purpose of SAP is to provide accurate and reliable assessments of energy performance within buildings. These are needed to underpin energy and environmental policy initiatives.
What can we do to help you with SAP?
We pride ourselves on providing compliance calculations to clients of all sizes. We can work with you to apply our expert understanding to both SAP and SBEM calculations for residential or commercial properties across the UK.
Our dedicated team of accredited technicians are always on hand to provide you with expert guidance and first-class technical support to meet all your needs and ensure that you're complying with SAP regulations. We can even offer discounts for multiple units and as-built calculations with every SAP/SBEM.
If you’d like a copy of our new brochure to find out more about SAP, drop us a message and we’ll pop one in the post for you.
