Here at Melin, we are extremely privileged to be able to play our part in the delivery of new buildings that benefit the environment and the community around us. We work in the knowledge that the services we provide can influence the final design and are committed to ensuring that every project we work on is given the same care and attention to detail so that the buildings can perform in such a way that benefits the occupants and the environment!

We’re a friendly bunch too, enjoying regular ‘get-togethers’, whether it be a meal after work or a cheeky mid-morning catch-up in our local coffee shop, we try and all get together as much as possible. For us, honesty, approachability, integrity, and a good old-fashioned willingness to learn are just as important as knowledge and industry experience.
Our recruiting process...
We appreciate that applying for a job takes time and effort so everyone application is acknowledged on receipt and we will always endeavor to keep candidates up to date on their progress.
As a rule, we tend to ask for a CV and covering letter in the first instance, and if considered a suitable applicant we invite applicants for an interview. Our interview style is more of a informal conversation where we get to know you, your strengths, ambitions, passions and methods you like to work. And just as importantly, you will get the chance to get to know us, we truly believe the ‘interview’ process is as much making sure you are the perfect fit for Melin and equally that Melin are the perfect fit for you.
Depending on the nature of the role, you may be asked to come back for a second interview, where you will meet other members of the senior team and maybe asked to prepare a short presentation, or report which enables you to showcase your capabilities and suitability for the role.
We welcome speculative approaches and we will always consider all applicants regardless of whether you have appropriate qualifications or industry experience, some of the best members of the team past and present came to us with no industry experience, just see Chris’ background, one of the partners at Melin.
